— How a trip works

From the first call to the record at the end.

Every trip we run follows the same five steps. Here is what the rider and the person arranging the ride can expect at each one.

  1. 01

    Request

Call or email dispatch with the pickup address, the destination, the appointment time and the rider's mobility needs. Anyone can arrange the trip — the rider, a family member, a case manager or facility staff.

    — For the rider

No app to download and no account to set up. A phone call is enough.

    — For whoever booked it

Tell us the mobility need up front and we will tell you which vehicle we are sending.

  2. 02

    Confirmation

We confirm the trip back to whoever booked it — the date, the pickup window and the vehicle type. If we cannot cover a trip, we say so at this point rather than leaving it open.

    — For the rider

You know the pickup window before the day of the appointment.

    — For whoever booked it

A confirmation you can put in the file, and an early answer if a trip needs to go elsewhere.

  3. 03

    Pickup

The driver arrives within the agreed window, introduces themselves by name, and helps the rider from the door to the vehicle — including securing a wheelchair properly before the vehicle moves.

    — For the rider

The driver comes to the door, not just the curb, and waits while you get settled.

    — For whoever booked it

If a pickup is running late, one call to dispatch reaches the person who can move it.

  4. 04

    Drop-off

The rider is walked to the entrance or reception rather than left at the curb. Where a return leg has been arranged, the driver confirms the pickup point and time before leaving.

    — For the rider

Someone stays with you until you are inside and expected.

    — For whoever booked it

Return trips are arranged alongside the outbound leg, so nothing has to be rebooked later.

  5. 05

    Record

Each completed trip is written up: the date, pickup and drop-off times, both addresses, the vehicle type and the driver who ran it. We keep that record and can provide it to the person or organization that arranged the trip.

    — For the rider

Ask about any trip you have taken and we can tell you what happened and when.

    — For whoever booked it

Trip details for reconciliation or a review, provided on request.

— Booking

How to book, and who to ask.

A trip can be arranged by the rider, a family member, a case manager, or facility staff. Whoever calls, the same information gets the ride scheduled first time.

What to have ready

  1. 01The pickup address and the destination, including the suite, floor or department.
  2. 02The appointment time, and roughly when the rider expects to be finished.
  3. 03The rider's mobility needs — walker, manual or power wheelchair, oxygen, whether stairs are involved.
  4. 04Whether anyone is traveling with the rider.
  5. 05A phone number we can reach on the day of the trip.
  6. 06Anything the driver should know: a gate code, a preferred entrance, or a rider who needs extra time.
— Reaching dispatch

One line for every step

Booking a trip, changing one, canceling, chasing a driver, or asking about a ride that has already run — the same contact handles all of it.

— Dispatch hours
Available 24/7
— How it works

Four steps. No guesswork.

Whether you're a patient arranging your own dialysis rides, a family member booking a parent's follow-up visit, a case manager setting up a standing schedule, or a discharge planner who needs someone at the curb this afternoon — the process is the same: one request, one confirmation, one accountable team.

01

Request

Call us or send the request form on this site. We take down the pickup and destination, the appointment time, the mobility equipment involved, and whether an escort is riding along.

02

Confirm

We check the request against the schedule and confirm the vehicle type and the pickup window before the day of the trip. If we cannot cover a ride, we say so while there is still time to arrange another.

03

Ride

The driver arrives inside the pickup window, meets the rider at the door, assists to the vehicle, and secures the wheelchair or seating properly. Return trips are planned with the ride, not left to chance.

04

Record

Every completed trip is written up — date, pickup and drop-off times, addresses, vehicle type, and the assistance provided. Riders, families, and the facility that arranged the trip can request a copy.

— Book a ride

Get to the appointment without the worry.
