What we ask of you.
These are the conditions of driving for us. Meet them, and the rest of the conversation is about scheduling.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, with at least three years of driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle record — no DUI and no major moving violations
- Able to pass a Wisconsin fingerprint-based criminal history check
- Able to pass a background check and a drug screen
- 21 years of age or older
- Confident driving through a Wisconsin winter — snow, ice and early darkness
- Willing to complete wheelchair securement and passenger-assistance training
- Patient and unhurried with riders of every ability

What a driving day can look like.
Non-emergency medical transportation is not one job. Assignments are matched to the vehicle you drive, the training you hold and the work booked at the time — so read the following as the range of trips, not a guarantee of a particular route or a number of hours.

Standing treatment runs
Dialysis and infusion schedules repeat on the same days to the same clinic. Where a facility books that way, routes of this kind may be offered as regular assignments.

Appointments and returns
A single trip out to a clinic or a specialist, and the ride home once the visit is finished — sometimes a wait, sometimes a scheduled return.

Wheelchair and low-deck trips
Ramp or lift-equipped vans and low-step vehicles, where four-point securement and door-to-door assistance are the job rather than an extra.

Discharges and transfers
Short-notice pickups when a bed needs to clear or a resident moves between facilities. These land during the day and reward drivers who can adapt.

Every application is reviewed by someone on the team, and we aim to come back to you within two business days either way.

Screening
Fingerprint clearance, background check, drug screen and a look at your motor vehicle record. None of it is a surprise if the requirements above already describe you.

Road check before your first rider
Expect to demonstrate securement, a safe transfer and the assistance we ask for at the door before you carry a passenger.
