Privacy Policy

This policy applies to https://selectedtransportation.com and to the information you send us through the forms on it. It does not cover any separate agreement you may have with us as a patient, a health plan, a facility or an employee.

We do not currently operate a mobile application. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the application is released.

We collect information in one way only: you type it into a form and submit it.

Ride requests

The ride request form asks for the passenger's name, a contact phone number, an optional email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, the requested date and time, the reason for transport, and optionally a health plan and vehicle preference.

Driver applications

The driver application form collects the details you enter about your eligibility to drive, together with any documents you choose to attach.

What we do not collect

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no session storage. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other websites. We do not collect location data from your device.

Form submissions are sent by email to our dispatch team so we can arrange the ride you asked for, or assess your application. That is the only purpose.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We share it with a third party only where it is necessary to deliver the service you requested — for example, with a health plan that is authorizing and paying for your trip — or where the law requires it.

A ride request can reveal health information, because the reason for transport and the destination often indicate the treatment involved. We treat that information as confidential and limit access to the staff who need it to arrange transport.

Where we transport you under a health plan or a facility contract, the handling of your health information is also governed by that agreement.

Ride requests and applications arrive as email and are retained in our mail system in line with our records policy and any applicable record-keeping requirement. TODO(client): state the specific retention period before launch.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because we hold this information as email rather than in an account system, these requests are handled by contacting us directly:

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may need to retain some information where a law or a contract requires it.

Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered to a mailbox restricted to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through it. We do transport minors when the trip has been arranged by a parent, guardian, agency or facility — in that case the arranging adult or organization provides the passenger's details.

If we change this policy we will update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be signposted on this page.
